How does billing work?
Free tier covers the AI chat and calculators. Paid tiers unlock document generation, the secure vault, and priority attorney matching. Manage your subscription at /dashboard after signing in. All payments are processed by Stripe — myLegal never stores card numbers.
What is the vault and who can see my files?
The vault is your encrypted document storage. Files are encrypted and tied to your account — myLegal staff cannot read them. Download, delete, or share at any time from /dashboard.
How does attorney matching work?
Tell the chat your practice area, state, and city. myLegal matches you with licensed attorneys on our network who handle that work in your jurisdiction. You choose whether to contact them — no auto-sharing of your details.
How do I manage or delete my account?
Sign in at /login and visit /dashboard. From there you can download all your data, update your email, or permanently delete your account. Account deletion removes your conversations, documents, and vault files within 30 days.
I need to escalate to a human — how?
Premium subscribers can message the support team directly from /dashboard after signing in. We reply by email within one business day. Free-tier users are supported through the AI chat; upgrade to unlock human escalation.
