1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using myLegal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

myLegal provides AI-powered legal information tools, document analysis, legal form finders, and attorney matching services. Our services are designed to help you understand legal concepts and find licensed attorneys in your area.

3. AI Output Disclaimer

Our AI assistant provides general legal information based on publicly available legal resources. AI output:

• May be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
• Does not constitute legal advice
• Should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel
• Must be independently verified by the user before acting on it

You are solely responsible for verifying any AI output with a licensed attorney or authoritative source before relying on it to make a legal, financial, or other consequential decision.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, use the service lawfully, and not attempt to circumvent security measures, rate limits, or access controls.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use myLegal to:

• Facilitate any illegal activity or violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or otherwise circumvent safety or policy controls on our AI
• Extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate our AI models, prompts, training data, or proprietary systems
• Submit false information to generate fraudulent attorney leads
• Harass, defame, threaten, or violate the rights of any person
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content except as permitted in our robots.txt

6. Attorney Matching

When we connect you with an attorney, we are providing a referral service. We do not guarantee the quality, outcome, availability, or pricing of any attorney. Any engagement with an attorney is a separate relationship governed by the attorney's own terms and applicable rules of professional conduct.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current term except as described in the Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and technology on myLegal is owned by Magic Life LLC (d/b/a Aura Media Studios) or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

myLegal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Liability cap. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Magic Life LLC, Aura Media Studios, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to your use of myLegal is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Carve-outs. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (i) gross negligence or willful misconduct; (ii) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (iii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iv) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Indirect damages. In no event are we liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Dispute Resolution and Class-Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of myLegal will be resolved on an individual basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding against us. This waiver does not apply where prohibited by law, and nothing in this section waives any non-waivable statutory right.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, because Magic Life LLC is organized under Delaware law. Exclusive venue for any non-arbitrable dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If Delaware law does not apply to your claim, the laws of the jurisdiction of the Magic Life LLC registered agent will govern instead.

12. Privacy

Your use of myLegal is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of myLegal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
